MCo-founder & Executive DirectorMelanie BainbridgeSongwriter, writer and sustainability strategist who dreamed up The Pack.

Melanie is our driving force and vision keeper. With 20 years in strategic sustainability and social impact, she's the one who dreamed up The Pack and continues to guide our mission. As a practicing songwriter, professional writer and seasoned community engagement expert, she understands both the creative and business sides of what we're building. Melanie oversees our strategic direction and makes sure everything we do creates real, lasting impact for artists and communities.

HCo-founder & Treasurer / Member DirectorHarry DeluxeLocal musician and arts advocate running our artist relationships.

Harry is the heart of The Pack's community spirit. As a local musician and arts advocate, she gets what it's like to be an artist trying to make it work. Her skills in capacity building and organisational development help us support emerging talent while keeping our own house in order. Harry coordinates our industry networks and manages artist relationships – she's got her finger on the pulse of what musicians need.

MChair / Independent DirectorMike FullerInnovation facilitator keeping the co-op focused, agile and moving.

Mike keeps us focused and moving forward as our Chair. With an extensive background in improvement and innovation facilitation, he brings 20 years of experience in making organisations work better. His expertise in quality assurance, human-centred design and lean startup methodology helps The Pack stay agile and responsive to our community's needs – his collaborative approach to problem-solving is very much pack mentality.

JDeputy Chair / Member DirectorJosie HackingSolutions engineer, musician and sound engineer – our systems wizard.

Josie is an experienced Solutions Engineer and business specialist, and a skilled musician and sound engineer. She's our systems wizard – an extensive background in training sector management and business process design, paired with real studio knowledge. As Deputy Chair, Josie helps steer our strategic direction while making sure our operations actually support our artists and community.

RSecretary / Independent DirectorRobert WeymouthParticipatory-governance specialist making our democracy real.

Rob is our governance guru and community engagement specialist. With a background in engineering and sustainability, plus a decade of experience in participatory governance, he helps The Pack operate as a genuinely democratic organisation. His work with Empowering Participation – a consultancy focused on better government-citizen interaction – means he knows how to build systems that actually serve people.

PMember DirectorPippa BainbridgeCreative Producer with deep Australian arts-sector credibility.

Pippa brings serious arts industry credibility to The Pack. With qualifications from WAAPA and leadership roles at iconic venues like La Mama, Next Wave and Arts Centre Melbourne, she knows the Australian arts landscape inside and out. As a Creative Producer she understands how to make ambitious projects happen on the ground. Currently working with the Art Gallery of Ballarat, Pippa helps us navigate the arts ecosystem and build partnerships that benefit the whole community.

JIndependent DirectorJustin SiderisWeb developer and brand specialist telling our story online.

Justin is our digital storyteller and strategy guru. An experienced web developer and brand specialist, he helps The Pack communicate our mission clearly and build meaningful connections online. His work with social enterprises and not-for-profits means he knows how to create authentic digital presences that serve communities – and he brings an artist's perspective to our communications strategy.

GIndependent DirectorGiles ThomsonSustainable-cities researcher thinking long-term impact.

Giles is our go-to for thinking big picture about sustainable change, with over 15 years designing better cities across Australia and the UK. His PhD work on transitioning cities toward sustainability, plus involvement in major projects like the London Olympic Legacy masterplan, means he understands how to create lasting positive impact. Giles helps The Pack think strategically about building more sustainable, connected communities through music.

KMember DirectorKieran MurphySix-album songwriter with strategic comms and HR credentials.

Kieran is our rock'n'roll renaissance guy. With 25+ years as a songwriter and musician, he's recorded six studio albums and toured nationally and internationally with The Murphy Brothers alongside his brothers Chris and Courtney. He also fronts rockabilly side project The Rough Housers and gigs regularly across WA. Add strategic communications and HR for WA Health since 2008, business development at Mega Music, and work as a photographer, designer and copywriter.

NMember DirectorNgaire GreenwoodFormer WA Opera singer and 20-year operations professional.

Ngaire brings the discipline and artistry of classical music to the board. She spent 8 years as a professional opera singer with WA Opera, Perth Oratorio, Musicum Collegium, the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of WA and the WA Lieder Society. From her parallel career as a professional administrator she brings over 20 years of operational expertise – knowledge management, project support, stakeholder engagement and corporate writing.

MMember DirectorMel AnastasPerth community organiser and founder of Bands for Bands.

Mel is a force in Perth's music community, rallying artists to put creativity and community first as an alternative to traditional industry structures. After forming Bands for Bands in response to The Bakery's closure, she's been exploring new models for live performance built on community value. Her company Do Re Media delivered digital content for local governments and arts festivals from 2012–2019, and she now works as an Employee Experience Consultant at Western Power. Mel lets off steam in all-genre punk band eyesandteeth.

HIndependent DirectorHank GidneyLondon-trained creative strategist and album-artwork designer.

Hank is our creative strategist with serious global credentials. Originally trained as a fine artist, he built his career in London's graphic design and advertising world, working on international campaigns and creating album artwork for internationally recognised musicians. His branding expertise spans startups finding their voice through to established organisations refining their identity. Since relocating to Australia he's focused on the creative industries and values-driven work.
